Frohlocket /froˈlɔkət/

„Jauchzet, frohlocket, auf, preiset die Tage, rühmet, was heute der Höchste getan!“
Dazu forderten große Chöre die Menschen im Jahr 1734 auf. In diesem Jahr veröffentlichte Johann Sebastian Bach sein weltbekanntes Weihnachtsoratorium.
Was Bach damals wichtig war, ist heute noch genauso wichtig und ein Grund zum Frohlocken – oder vielleicht um vor Freude auszurasten.
Jesus Christus ist ja schließlich vor über 2000 Jahre als auf die Erde gekommen. Gott wurde Mensch. Den Hirten auf dem Feld wird zuerst diese große Freude verkündet. Das gibt auch heute immer wieder neue Hoffnung in unruhigen Zeiten.
